Tasty, generous portions served hot. Friendly, quick service. Downsides: tables packed together (chairs literally touching neighbors'); very loud, echoing acoustics; COLD at 9:00AM on January 7th. Saving money in heat???? Host was wearing a puffy black parka, so they know it's cold. I might prefer Tutu's over Breakfast Club.

Positives: Delicious food, lots of choices Great host up front -- she's a gem! Social and friendly young staff Fresh squeezed orange juice for the mimosas There's a parking lot steps away which usually has parking Freshly designed space with a comfortable ambiance Negatives: Trendy new spot so expect to wait for a table The waiting space up front is very tight, you may need to wait outside

What a lovely dining experience. The location is tricky only because of the limited street parking. But there's actually parking lots scattered around downtown and it makes for a nice walk am to explore before or after the meal. I got a half and half omelette, steak and shrimp and it was huge! I was hungry and ate nearly everything. But there was definitely enough to bring home half of it. The decor and vibes inside the restaurant are clean, bright and welcoming. The decor is intentionally placed and didn't feel chotchskyish or corny. The service was quick and friendly. The quality of the food was top notch, too. And of course, the bathroom. Clean, accessible. I'll be back!

Great food and service. We came on a Saturday around 1:30 and were told it was about a 45 min wait to sit inside, but outdoor seating was immediately available. It was quite cold outside, and they don't have outdoor heaters, so few people were out there. I had a breakfast burrito substituted with soyrizo for $1 extra. My husband had the Jalisco omelette which came with an English muffin (and not your typical grocery store one). He also had a side of corn beef hash ($9, which was quite large), and a Mariachi Bloody Mary. Food came out quick despite how busy it looked. Service was good. Will come back to try some of the sweeter breakfast dishes.

This place is top tier. I love it here! If I could give it more stars I would. I drive all the way to Lafayette to have breakfast here. The weekends are always packed, so make sure you're prepare to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated. I love the ambiance here. It's bright, open and just has a good vibe to it. The service is always great from the host to the servers, and the food.................... baby, the food!!!!! *chef's kiss* My favorite thing to eat here to date is the Hotlink scramble. Thank me later. ;) I also love the Midtown Trio for people who like to "taste" a little bit of everything, like me. Those peach cobbler pancakes are just..... different, in a perfect way. Only thing better than the food to me are the prices. You'll be happy you came to TBC. This place is good for just you and the bae, you and the kids or a group of fam/friends. They got it right in here!

My wife, baby and i turned up for brunch / early lunch at 11am on a Wednesday after hearing many of the great things around. We sat outside (our kid doesn't have his shots yet) and whilst a little chilly, it wasn't too windy - the patio is nestled in a small alleyway. The food was hearty and quite heavy - it'll set you up nicely for a nap afterwards :). Definitely skip breakfast before you visit. I had the Santa Maria scramble, which was a ot of protein, veggies, hash and a side of coffee cake - I recommend ordering a hot drink along with the coffee cake because it was dry (perhaps by design). The only negative point here was service - it took us a long time to get seated and the restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived. The host did not seem particularly friendly either. Our waitress was great though, and once she eventually came to our table, we had a good experience. As we left, there was a long line of diners waiting to get seated (closer to noon). I'm not sure we'll be regulars - but this is a great special occasion spot to get a quintessential "American brunch".
